Nacht der Forschung 2025: To Space! - From Solar Systems to Exoplanets

Marvel at a model of the James Webb Space Telescope, enter a mobile planetarium, launch water rockets and sniff comets: Researchers and apprentices make space research accessible. An experience for the whole family.

This year, the Center for Space and Habitability and Space Research & Planetology present activities and exhibition to two big topics. To mark the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the first exoplanets orbiting a sun-like star by two Swiss astronomers, exoplanet research is one of the main topics. The second topic is the exploration of the solarsystem with participation from Bern.

Our activities and booths can be found throughout the ExWi building as well as in a tent on the Einsteinstrasse.

We also once again host a talk series throughout the Nacht der Forschung. The talks will take place in Lecture Hall 099 at the ExWi building. Check the link below for the full program of talks!
